عبداللہ ابن سنان نے الصادق علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: جب آدم علیہ السلام وفات پا گئے اور ان پر نماز پڑھنے کا وقت آیا تو ہبۃ اللہ نے جبرائیل علیہ السلام سے کہا، "اے رسول اللہ، آگے بڑھو اور اللہ کے نبی پر نماز پڑھو۔" جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے کہا، "بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ نے ہمیں تمہارے والد کے سامنے سجدہ کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے، اس لیے ہم ان کے نیک اولاد میں سے پہلے نہیں جاتے، اور تم ان میں سے سب سے نیک ہو۔" چنانچہ وہ آگے بڑھا اور ان پر پانچ تکبیریں کہی، جو کہ وہی تعداد ہے جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی امت پر فرض کی ہے، اور یہ ان کی اولاد میں قیامت تک جاری رہنے والی سنت ہے۔

Translation

Hadith.465 - Abdullah ibn Sinan narrated from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) that He said: "When Adam (as) passed away and it was time to perform the prayer for him, the son of Adam, Hibatullah (Seth), said to Archangel Jibril (as): 'Advance, O’ Messenger (intermediary) of Allah (swt), and lead the prayer over the Prophet of Allah (swt).' Archangel Jibril (as) replied: 'Allah (swt), the Exalted, commanded us to prostrate to your father, and we do not go ahead of the best of his progeny. You are among the most righteous of them, so you should lead.'
