"هُمُ اَلْيَوْمَ أَهْلُ هُدْنَةٍ تُرَدُّ ضَالَّتُهُمْ وَ تُؤَدَّى أَمَانَتُهُمْ وَ تُحْقَنُ دِمَاؤُهُمْ وَ تَجُوزُ مُنَاكَحَتُهُمْ وَ مُوَارَثَتُهُمْ فِي هَذَا اَلْحَالِ".

العلاء بن رزین نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے عام لوگوں کے بارے میں پوچھا، تو آپ نے فرمایا: وہ آج صلح کے لوگ ہیں: ان کی گمشدہ چیزیں انہیں واپس کی جاتی ہیں، ان کی امانتیں پوری کی جاتی ہیں، ان کے خون کی حفاظت کی جاتی ہے، اور ان سے نکاح اور وراثت اس حالت میں جائز ہے۔
Translation
Hadith.4646 - Al-Alaa ibn Razin asked Abu Abdullah (as) about the the general masses (Jumhur al-Nas). Imam (as) said: "They are today considered people of truce. Their lost property is to be returned to them, their trusts are to be fulfilled, their blood is to be protected, and marriage with them and inheritance from them is permissible in this state."
