"مَا هُوَ" فَقُلْتُ اَلْأَحْمَقُ اَلذَّاهِبُ اَلْعَقْلِ فَقَالَ "نَعَمْ".

اور حَمّاد ابن عیسی نے شعیب سے، شعیب نے ابو بصیر سے، ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی: کہا گیا کہ معتوہ کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا: کیا اس کا طلاق جائز ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا، "وہ کیا ہے؟" میں نے کہا، "وہ بے وقوف ہے جس کی عقل ختم ہو گئی ہے۔" انہوں نے کہا، "ہاں۔"
Translation
Hadith.4771 - Ḥammad ibn ʿIsa narrated from Shuʿayb, from Abu Baṣir, from Abu Abdullah (as), that Imam (as) who was asked about the validity of a divorce issued by a mentally impaired person (ma'tooh). Imam (as) responded: "What do you mean by that?" I said: "The foolish one who lacks sound reasoning." Imam (as) replied: "Yes, it is valid."
