قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ : "قَضَى عَلِيٌّ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ فِي رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ اِمْرَأَةَ رَجُلٍ أَنَّهُ رَجَمَ اَلْمَرْأَةَ وَ ضَرَبَ اَلرَّجُلَ اَلْحَدَّ وَ قَالَ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ "لَوْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّكَ عَلِمْتَ لَفَضَخْتُ رَأْسَكَ بِالْحِجَارَةِ" ".

4994 - شعیب نے ابو بصیر سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا: ابو جعفر علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: علی علیہ السلام نے ایک ایسے شخص کے بارے میں فیصلہ دیا جو دوسرے شخص کی بیوی سے نکاح کر چکا تھا کہ اس عورت کو سنگسار کیا جائے اور اس مرد کو حد دی جائے۔ اور انہوں نے فرمایا: اگر مجھے معلوم ہوتا کہ تم جانتے ہو، تو میں تمہارا سر پتھروں سے کچل دیتا۔
Translation
Hadith.4994 - Shuayb narrated from Abu Baṣir who said that Abu Jafar (as) said: "Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) ruled in the case of a man who married another man's wife, that the woman should be stoned, and the man should be given the prescribed punishment (for fornication). Imam (as) then said: 'If I knew that you were aware (that she was already married), I would have crushed your head with stones.'"
