اور عُثمان بن عیسیٰ اور زرعہ نے سماعہ سے، ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے ان سے پوچھا کہ جو شخص جان بوجھ کر ایک مومن کو قتل کرے، کیا اس کے لئے توبہ ممکن ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: "نہیں، جب تک کہ وہ اپنے خون کی قیمت اپنے اہل خانہ کو ادا نہ کرے، ایک غلام آزاد نہ کرے، مسلسل دو مہینے روزہ نہ رکھے، اللہ تعالیٰ سے معافی نہ مانگے، اس کی طرف توبہ کرے اور عاجزی سے دعا کرے؛ کیونکہ میں امید کرتا ہوں کہ اگر وہ یہ سب کرے تو اس کی توبہ قبول ہوگی۔" میں نے کہا: "میں تمہاری فدیہ ہوں، اگر اس کے پاس خون کی قیمت ادا کرنے کے لئے مال نہ ہو تو؟" انہوں نے فرمایا: "اسے مسلمانوں سے مانگنا چاہیے یہاں تک کہ وہ اپنی خون کی قیمت اپنے خاندان کو ادا کر دے۔"

Translation

Hadith.5168 - Uthman ibn Isa and Zurah narrated from Samaah from Abu Abdullah (as), who said: I asked Imam (as) about a person who intentionally kills a believer - does he have repentance? Imam (as) said: "No, not until he pays the blood money (diyyah) to the victim's family, frees a slave, fasts for two consecutive months, seeks forgiveness from Allah (swt) the Almighty and Majestic, repents to Him (swt), and humbly supplicates. I hope that if he does all of this, his repentance will be accepted." I asked: "May I be your ransom, what if he has no wealth to pay the blood money?" Imam (as) said: "Then he should ask the Muslims for help until he is able to pay the blood money to the victim's family."
