: "إِذَا قَتَلَ اَلْمُسْلِمُ اَلنَّصْرَانِيَّ فَأَرَادَ أَهْلُ اَلنَّصْرَانِيِّ أَنْ يَقْتُلُوهُ قَتَلُوهُ وَ أَدَّوْا فَضْلَ مَا بَيْنَ اَلدِّيَتَيْنِ".

جیسا کہ ʿAlī ibn al-Ḥakam نے روایت کیا، ابو المغراء سے، ابو بصیر سے، ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے، جنہوں نے فرمایا: اگر کوئی مسلمان کسی عیسائی کو قتل کر دے اور عیسائی کے اہل خانہ اسے قتل کرنا چاہیں تو وہ اسے قتل کر سکتے ہیں، اور انہیں دونوں دیات کے درمیان فرق ادا کرنا ہوگا۔
Translation
Hadith.5256 - Ali ibn Al-Hakam narrated from Abu Al-Maghra, from Abu Basir, from Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) who said: "If a Muslim kills a Christian and the family of the Christian wishes to execute him, they may do so, but they must pay the difference between the two blood monies (diyyahs)."
