رَجُلٍ ضَرَبَ رَجُلاً بِعَصاً فَلَمْ يَرْفَعْ عَنْهُ اَلْعَصَا حَتَّى مَاتَ قَالَ "يُدْفَعُ إِلَى أَوْلِيَاءِ اَلْمَقْتُولِ وَ لَكِنْ لاَ يُتْرَكُ يُتَلَذَّذُ بِهِ وَ لَكِنْ يُجَازُ عَلَيْهِ بِالسَّيْفِ".

موسى ابن بکر نے عبد الصالح علیہ السلام سے روایت کی: ایک شخص کے بارے میں جو دوسرے شخص کو لاٹھی سے مارا اور لاٹھی اس سے نہیں ہٹائی جب تک وہ مر نہ گیا، انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: “اسے مقتول کے وارثوں کے حوالے کیا جائے گا، لیکن اسے چھوڑا نہیں جائے گا تاکہ اس کے عذاب میں لذت حاصل کی جائے؛ بلکہ اس پر تلافی تلوار سے کی جائے گی۔”
Translation
Hadith.5278 - Musa ibn Bakr narrated from Al-Abd Al-Salih Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as) regarding a man who struck another man with a stick and did not lift it from him until he died. Imam (as) said: "The killer should be handed over to the heirs of the murdered man, but he should not be left to be tortured for pleasure. Rather, retribution should be carried out upon him with the sword."
