ابو الحسن موسی ابن جعفر علیہما السلام سے پوچھا گیا کہ ایک شخص اپنے بیٹے یا بیٹی سے کہتا ہے، "میرے والد اور والدہ، یا میرے والدین تمہارے لیے ہوں۔" کیا آپ کو اس میں کوئی ضرر نظر آتا ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: "اگر اس کے والدین زندہ ہوں تو میں اسے ان کے خلاف نافرمانی سمجھتا ہوں؛ اور اگر وہ فوت ہو چکے ہوں تو اس میں کوئی ضرر نہیں۔"

Translation

Hadith.564 - Abu Al-Hasan Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as) was asked about a man who says to his son or daughter, "May my father and mother (or my parents) be ransomed for you." The Imam responded: "If his parents are alive, I consider this to be an act of disobedience (toward them). If they have passed away, then there is no problem."
