: قُلْتُ لَهُ رَجُلٌ تَزَوَّجَ اِمْرَأَةً بِحُكْمِهَا فَمَاتَ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَحْكُمَ قَالَ "لَيْسَ لَهَا صَدَاقٌ وَ هِيَ تَرِثُهُ".

ابن ابی نصر نے عبد الکریم بن عمرو سے روایت کی، جو محمد بن مسلم سے، جو ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے ان سے کہا: ایک شخص نے ایک عورت سے اس کی مرضی کے مطابق نکاح کیا، پھر وہ اس سے پہلے فوت ہوگیا کہ وہ اپنی مرضی ظاہر کر پاتی۔ انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: اس کا صداق نہیں ہے، لیکن وہ اس سے وارثت پاتی ہے۔
Translation
Hadith.5673 - Ibn Abi Nasr narrated from Abdul Karim ibn Amr, from Muhammad ibn Muslim, from Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as), who said: I asked Imam (as) about a man who married a woman according to her own condition (by her terms), but he died before she could set the conditions. Imam (as) said: "She is not entitled to a dowry (ṣadaq), but she inherits from him."
