الْحَسَن بْن مَحْبُوب نے مَالِک بْن عَطِيَّة سے، وہ بھی عَائِذ الأَحْمَسِي سے، وہ بھی أَبُو حَمْزَة الثُّمَالِي سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے کہا: زَیْنُ الْعَابِدِین، عَلِی بْن الْحُسَیْن، علیہم السلام، نے فرمایا: دیکھو، اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک تم میں سب سے زیادہ محبوب وہ ہے جو تم میں سے عمل میں سب سے بہتر ہو۔ بے شک اللہ کے نزدیک تم میں سب سے بڑا حصہ وہ ہے جو اللہ کے پاس جو کچھ ہے اس کے لیے سب سے زیادہ رغبت رکھتا ہو۔ بے شک اللہ کے عذاب سے سب سے زیادہ بچ جانے والا وہ ہے جو اللہ سے سب سے زیادہ خوف رکھتا ہو۔ بے شک اللہ کے قریب ترین وہ ہے جس کا اخلاق سب سے وسیع ہو۔ بے شک اللہ کے نزدیک سب سے زیادہ پسندیدہ وہ ہے جو اپنے اہل و عیال پر سب سے زیادہ خرچ کرنے والا ہو۔ بے شک تم میں سب سے زیادہ عزت والا اللہ کے نزدیک سب سے زیادہ پرہیزگار ہے۔

Translation

Hadith.5884 - Al-Hasan ibn Mahbub narrated from Malik ibn Atiyyah, from Aidh Al-Ahmasi, from Abu Hamzah Al-Thumali, who said that Zayn Al-Abidin Imam Ali ibn Al-Hussain (as) said: "Behold, the most beloved of you to Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, is the one with the best deeds. Indeed, the greatest among you in reward with Allah (swt) is the one with the greatest desire for what is with Allah (swt). The safest of people from Allah's (swt) punishment is the one who fears Allah (swt) the most. The closest of you to Allah (swt) is the one with the most expansive and noble character. The most pleasing to Allah (swt) among you is the one who is most generous toward his family. Indeed, the most honored of you in the sight of Allah (swt) is the most God-conscious among you."
