لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا إِنَّهُ رُبَّمَا اِشْتَبَهَ عَلَيْنَا اَلْوَقْتُ فِي يَوْمِ غَيْمٍ فَقَالَ «تَعْرِفُ هَذِهِ اَلطُّيُورَ اَلَّتِي تَكُونُ عِنْدَكُمْ بِالْعِرَاقِ يُقَالُ لَهَا اَلدُّيُوكُ» فَقَالَ نَعَمْ قَالَ «إِذَا اِرْتَفَعَتْ أَصْوَاتُهَا وَ تَجَاوَبَتْ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ فَصَلِّ.

ابو عبد اللہ الفراء نے امام الصادق علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: ہمارے ایک ساتھی نے ان سے کہا: "کبھی کبھار بادلوں والے دن وقت ہمارے لیے غیر واضح ہو جاتا ہے۔" انہوں نے کہا: "کیا تم ان پرندوں کو جانتے ہو جو عراق میں تمہارے پاس ہوتے ہیں، جنہیں مرغ کہتے ہیں؟" انہوں نے کہا: "ہاں۔" انہوں نے فرمایا: “جب ان کی آوازیں بلند ہوں اور وہ ایک دوسرے کو جواب دیں، تب اس وقت نماز پڑھو۔”
Translation
Hadith.669 - Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) Al-Farra' that a man from among their companions said to him: "Sometimes the time of prayer becomes unclear for us on a cloudy day." The Imam said: "Do you know these birds that you have in Iraq, which are called roosters (duyook)?" The man replied: "Yes." The Imam said: "When their voices rise and they begin to respond to each other, then at that time, pray."
