: إِنِّي مُؤَذِّنٌ فَإِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ غَيْمٍ لَمْ أَعْرِفِ اَلْوَقْتَ فَقَالَ «إِذَا صَاحَ اَلدِّيكُ ثَلاَثَةَ أَصْوَاتٍ وِلاَءً فَقَدْ زَالَتِ اَلشَّمْسُ وَ دَخَلَ وَقْتُ اَلصَّلاَةِ.

الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ نے اُن سے، علیہ السلام، روایت کی کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: میں مؤذن ہوں، جب دن بادلوں سے چھایا ہو اور مجھے وقت کا علم نہ ہو، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “جب مرغ تین مرتبہ لگاتار بانگ دے تو سمجھ لو کہ سورج اپنے عروج سے گزر چکا ہے اور وقتِ صلات داخل ہو چکا ہے۔”
Translation
Hadith.670 - Al-Hussein ibn al-Mukhtar narrated from Him, Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as), that He (ibn al-Mukhtar) said: "I am the muezzin (the caller to prayer). On a cloudy day, when I cannot ascertain the time (for prayer), Imam (as) said: 'When the rooster crows three consecutive times, then the sun has passed its zenith and the time for prayer has entered.'"
