«إِنْ كُنَّ صَمَّاءَ فَلاَ بَأْسَ وَ إِنْ كَانَ لَهَا صَوْتٌ فَلاَ يَصْلُحُ.

اور اس نے اس سے پاؤں کی زنجیروں کے بارے میں پوچھا: کیا عورتوں اور بچوں کے لیے انہیں پہننا جائز ہے؟ اس نے کہا: اگر وہ خاموش ہوں تو کوئی حرج نہیں؛ لیکن اگر ان سے آواز نکلتی ہو تو یہ مناسب نہیں۔
Translation
Hadith.777 – He (Ali ibn Ja’far ) asked Him, Imam Musa ibn Jafar Al-Kadhim (as), about whether it is permissible for women and children to wear anklets. Imam (as) said: "If they are silent (do not make noise), there is no harm, but if they produce sound, it is not appropriate”.
