اَلصَّلاَةِ فَقَالَ «إِنْ كَانَ ذَكَرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ فَلْيُصَلِّ عَلَى اَلنَّبِيِّ وَ آلِهِ وَ لْيُقِمْ وَ إِنْ كَانَ قَدْ دَخَلَ فِي اَلْقِرَاءَةِ فَلْيُتِمَّ صَلاَتَهُ».

زیدالشحّام نے ابا عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے پوچھا: ایک شخص کے بارے میں جو اذان اور اقامت بھول گیا یہاں تک کہ وہ نماز میں داخل ہو گیا، انہوں نے فرمایا: “اگر وہ پڑھنے سے پہلے یاد کرے تو اسے چاہیے کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اور ان کے اہل بیت پر درود بھیجے اور اقامت پڑھائے۔ لیکن اگر وہ پڑھائی میں داخل ہو چکا ہو تو اپنی نماز مکمل کرے۔”
Translation
Hadith.893 - Zaid al-Shahham asked Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about a man who forgot the adhan (call to prayer) and iqamah (second call to prayer) and began the prayer. The Imam said: "If he remembers before reciting (the Qur'an in prayer), he should send blessings upon the Prophet and his family and then recite the iqamah. But if he has already started reciting, then he should complete his prayer”.
