: سُئِلَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اَللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ نَسِيَ مِنَ اَلْأَذَانِ حَرْفاً فَذَكَرَهُ حِينَ فَرَغَ مِنَ اَلْأَذَانِ وَ اَلْإِقَامَةِ قَالَ «يَرْجِعُ إِلَى اَلْحَرْفِ اَلَّذِي نَسِيَهُ فَلْيَقُلْهُ وَ لْيَقُلْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ اَلْحَرْفِ إِلَى آخِرِهِ وَ لاَ يُعِيدُ اَلْأَذَانَ كُلَّهُ وَ لاَ اَلْإِقَامَةَ.

اور یہ روایت ہے عمار السباتی سے کہ انہوں نے کہا: ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے ایک شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا جو اذان کے ایک لفظ کو بھول گیا اور پھر اذان اور اقامت مکمل کرنے کے بعد اسے یاد آیا۔ انہوں نے فرمایا: “وہ اس لفظ پر واپس آتا ہے جو وہ بھول گیا تھا اور اسے کہتا ہے، پھر اسے اس لفظ سے آخر تک کہنا چاہیے، اور وہ پورا اذان یا اقامت دوبارہ نہیں کہتا۔”
Translation
Hadith.894 - It was narrated from Ammar al-Sabati that He said: "Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) was asked about a man who forgot a word during the adhan (call to prayer) and remembered it after completing the adhan and iqamah (second call to prayer). The Imam said: "He should go back to the word he forgot, say it, and then continue from that point to the end. He does not need to repeat the entire adhan or the iqamah."
