Community of Christ is a living tradition within Latter Day Saint movement. Also written Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (to 2001), RLDS.
Origin
Founder named in the sources: Joseph Smith III. No founding year is given below, because the sources read do not agree on one and a date has not been chosen for them. The body that did not follow Brigham Young west, reorganised under Joseph Smith III; renamed Community of Christ in 2001. Founding year of the reorganisation not verified against a scholarly source in this pass and therefore omitted.
