Global Methodist Church is a living tradition within Methodism. Also written GMC.
Origin
Founding date given as 2022. Launched in 2022 by theologically conservative Methodists breaking with the United Methodist Church over its direction, with LGBTQ inclusion the presenting issue. The UMC's 2019 General Conference had created a route for congregations to disaffiliate, open until the end of 2023.
