Hutterites is a living tradition within Anabaptism. Also written Hutterian Brethren.
Origin
Founder named in the sources: Jakob Hutter. No founding year is given below, because the sources read do not agree on one and a date has not been chosen for them. Followers of Jakob Hutter (d. 1536), who established communities of goods on the estates of tolerant Moravian nobles that accepted their craftsmanship in lieu of military service. No founding year is given by the sources consulted.
