Ravidassia

Ravidassia is recorded within Sikhism. Whether it constitutes a distinct tradition is itself disputed in the sources. Also written Ravidassia Dharam, Ravidasi, Dera Sachkhand Ballan tradition.
Origin
Founders named in the sources: Dera Sachkhand Ballan, founded in the early 20th century by Baba Sant Pipal Das (institutional base), the tradition venerates Guru Ravidas as its founding figure. Founding date given as 2010. On 29–30 January 2010, Dera Sachkhand Ballan formally declared the Ravidassia panth a separate faith. Its distinctive scripture is the Amritbani Guru Ravidas Ji, containing 200 hymns attributed to Guru Ravidas; many Ravidassia temples and deras associated with Dera Sachkhand Ballan subsequently installed it in place of the Guru Granth Sahib. The declaration followed an attack on a Ravidassia congregation in Vienna in May 2009 in which Sant Ramanand was killed.
