No founding year is given below, because the sources read do not agree on one and a date has not been chosen for them. The Tayyibi faction that followed Sulayman b. Hassan in the succession dispute over the office of Da'i al-Mutlaq, based principally in Yemen. No date is asserted; see the note on the Dawoodi Bohra entry. Coverage is low: existence is attested, specifics are not.
