Yongjia school (utilitarian statecraft) is recorded within Daoxue / Neo-Confucianism (Song-Ming lixue) and is no longer extant. Also written 永嘉學派, Zhejiang statecraft school.
Origin
Founders named in the sources: Chen Liang (1143–1194), Ye Shi (1150–1223). No founding year is given below, because the sources read do not agree on one and a date has not been chosen for them. No founding date in my sources. A Southern Song current emphasising practical statecraft, institutions and material welfare against the moral metaphysics of Daoxue; the Stanford Encyclopedia names Chen Liang (1143–1194) and Ye Shi (1150–1223).
