John Shaqi

فِي الْعَبْدِ تَكُونُ تَحْتَهُ الْحُرَّةُ قَالَ وُلْدُهُ أَحْرَارٌ فَإِنْ أُعْتِقَ الْمَمْلُوكُ لَحِقَ بِأَبِيهِ .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said regarding the slave who happens to have the free woman under him (as a wife). He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘His children would be free. So if the slave is emancipated, it would be attached with its father’.
