وُلِدَ لِلْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ( عليه السلام ) مَوْلُودٌ فَأَتَتْهُ قُرَيْشٌ فَقَالُوا يَهْنِئُكَ الْفَارِسُ فَقَالَ وَ مَا هَذَا مِنَ الْكَلَامِ قُولُوا شَكَرْتَ الْوَاهِبَ وَ بُورِكَ لَكَ فِي الْمَوْهُوبِ وَ بَلَغَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَشُدَّهُ وَ رَزَقَكَ بِرَّهُ .

علی بن محمد بن بندار نے ابراہیم بن اسحاق احمر سے، انہوں نے عبد اللہ بن حماد سے، انہوں نے ابو مریم انصاری سے، انہوں نے ابو برزہ اسلمی سے روایت کی کہ: حسن بن علی علیہ السلام کے ہاں ایک بچہ پیدا ہوا تو قریش ان کے پاس آئے اور کہا: 'مبارک ہو تمہیں گھڑسوار کے لیے!' تو انہوں نے فرمایا: 'یہ کیا کہنا ہے؟ کہو: تم نے عطا کرنے والے کا شکر ادا کیا، اور تمہارے لیے اس عطا کردہ (بچے) میں برکت ہو، اللہ اسے اس کی جوانی کو پہنچائے، اور تمہیں اس کی نیکی کا رزق عطا فرمائے۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Bundar, from Ibrahim Bin Is’haq Al Ahmar, from Abdullah Bin Hammad, from Abu Maryam Al Ansary, from Abu Barzat Al Aslamy who said, ‘A child was born for Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup>, so the Qureysh came over to him<sup>asws</sup> and said, ‘Congratulations to you<sup>asws</sup> for the (birth of a) horse-rider’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘And what is this from the speech? You should be saying, ‘Thank the Endower, Blessings be to you<sup>asws</sup> regarding the endowed, and may Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Make him reach the adulthood, and Grant you<sup>asws</sup> (to observe) his righteousness’.
