سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ لَيْسَ عِنْدَ أَحَدٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ حَقٌّ وَ لَا صَوَابٌ وَ لَا أَحَدٌ مِنَ النَّاسِ يَقْضِي بِقَضَاءٍ حَقٍّ إِلَّا مَا خَرَجَ مِنَّا أَهْلَ الْبَيْتِ وَ إِذَا تَشَعَّبَتْ بِهِمُ الْأُمُورُ كَانَ الْخَطَأُ مِنْهُمْ وَ الصَّوَابُ مِنْ عَلِيٍّ ( عليه السلام ) .

علی بن ابراہیم بن ہاشم، محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، وہ یونس سے، وہ ابن مسکان سے، وہ محمد بن مسلم سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو جعفر (علیہ السلام) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: “لوگوں میں سے کسی کے پاس بھی حق نہیں، نہ درستگی، اور لوگوں میں سے کوئی بھی حق کے ساتھ فیصلہ نہیں کرتا مگر وہ جو ہم اہلِ بیت سے صادر ہوا ہو۔ اور جب امور ان پر متفرق اور پیچیدہ ہو جائیں تو خطا انہی سے ہوتی ہے اور درستگی علی (علیہ السلام) سے ہے۔”
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim Bin Hashim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Ibn Muskan, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, ‘I heard Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘There isn’t any truth with anyone from the people, nor any correctness, nor is any one from the people judging with a rightful judgment except what came out from us<sup>asws</sup> the People<sup>asws</sup> of the Household, and when the matters branched out with them, the errors were from them and the correctness was from Ali<sup>asws</sup>’.
