إِذَا غَابَ الرَّجُلُ عَنِ امْرَأَتِهِ سَنَةً أَوْ سَنَتَيْنِ أَوْ أَكْثَرَ ثُمَّ قَدِمَ وَ أَرَادَ طَلَاقَهَا وَ كَانَتْ حَائِضاً تَرَكَهَا حَتَّى تَطْهُرَ ثُمَّ يُطَلِّقُهَا .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Al Hakam Bin Miskeen, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘When the man is absent from his wife for a year, or two years, or more, then comes over and intends to divorce her, and she was menstruating, he has to leave her until she is pure, then divorces her’.
