سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ يُعْتِقُ مَمْلُوكَهُ وَ يُزَوِّجُهُ ابْنَتَهُ وَ يَشْتَرِطُ عَلَيْهِ إِنْ هُوَ أَغَارَهَا أَنْ يَرُدَّهُ فِي الرِّقِّ قَالَ لَهُ شَرْطُهُ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے ابن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے حسین بن عثمان اور محمد بن ابی حمزہ سے، انہوں نے اسحاق بن عمار اور دیگر سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: میں نے ان سے اس شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جو اپنے مملوک کو آزاد کرتا ہے اور اسے اپنی بیٹی سے شادی کراتا ہے، اور اس پر یہ شرط لگاتا ہے کہ اگر اس نے اسے دھوکہ دیا تو اسے دوبارہ غلامی میں لوٹا دیا جائے گا۔ آپؑ نے فرمایا: اس کی شرط درست ہے۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Al Husayn Bin Usman, and Muhammad Bin Abu Hamza, from Is’haq Bin Ammar, and someone else, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the man who emancipated his owned slave, and married him to his own daughter, and stipulated a condition upon him that if he were to deceive her, he would be returned in the slavery. He<sup>asws</sup> said; ‘It is for him to stipulate it’.
