سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ السَّمَكِ يُصَادُ ثُمَّ يُجْعَلُ فِي شَيْءٍ ثُمَّ يُعَادُ إِلَى الْمَاءِ فَيَمُوتُ فِيهِ فَقَالَ لَا تَأْكُلْهُ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Abdullah Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Aban, from Abdul Rahman Bin Sayaba who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the fish he hunts (catches), then he makes it to be in something (e.g. a basket), then he returns it into the water, so it dies in it’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Do not eat it’.
