الْمَاءِ فَمَاتَتْ أَ تُؤْكَلُ قَالَ لَا .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Abu Ayoub, (The narrator) who asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about a man who baited a fish, so he tied it with a thread, and sent it in the water, so it died. Can he eat it?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No’.
