قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) إِنِّي أَكُونُ فِي الْآجَامِ فَيَخْتَلِفُ عَلَيَّ الْبَيْضُ فَمَا آكُلُ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ كُلْ مِنْهُ مَا اخْتَلَفَ طَرَفَاهُ .
اردو
میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے کہا: میں جھاڑیوں میں ہوتا ہوں تو میرے سامنے مختلف انڈے آ جاتے ہیں — ان میں سے کیا کھاؤں؟ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: ان میں سے وہ کھاؤ جن کے دونوں سرے مختلف ہوں (لمبوترے)۔
Translation
One of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Jamhour, from Muhammad Bin al Qasim, from Ibn Abu Yafour who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘I happen to be in the bushes, so I come by different eggs, so what can I eat from these?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Eat from it what is different in its sides (oblong)’.
