قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ أُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هذَا الْقُرْآنُ لِأُنْذِرَكُمْ بِهِ وَ مَنْ بَلَغَ قَالَ مَنْ بَلَغَ أَنْ يَكُونَ إِمَاماً مِنْ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ يُنْذِرُ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَمَا يُنْذِرُ بِهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ).

احمد، عبد العظیم سے، ابن اُذینہ سے، مالک الجہنی سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے کہا: “اور یہ قرآن میری طرف وحی کیا گیا ہے تاکہ میں تمہیں اس کے ذریعے ڈراؤں، اور جس تک یہ پہنچے۔” علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: “جس تک یہ پہنچے، اس طرح کہ وہ آلِ محمد میں سے امام ہو، وہ قرآن کے ذریعے اسی طرح ڈراتا ہے جیسے رسول اللہ صلى الله عليه وآله نے اس کے ذریعے ڈرایا۔”
Translation
Ahmad Bin Abdul Azeem, from Ibn Azina, from Malik Al Juhny who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘<span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:6#h19"><a href="/books/quran:6#h19">[6:19]</a></a> and this Quran has been Revealed to me that with it I may warn you, and whomsoever it reaches</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The one whom it reaches that he becomes an Imam<sup>asws</sup>, from the Progeny<sup>asws</sup> of Muhammad<sup>as</sup>. He<sup>asws</sup> would warn with the Quran just as Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> had warned with it’.
