إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَانَ إِذْ لَا كَانَ فَخَلَقَ الْكَانَ وَ الْمَكَانَ وَ خَلَقَ نُورَ الْأَنْوَارِ الَّذِي نُوِّرَتْ مِنْهُ الْأَنْوَارُ وَ أَجْرَى فِيهِ مِنْ نُورِهِ الَّذِي نُوِّرَتْ مِنْهُ الْأَنْوَارُ وَ هُوَ النُّورُ الَّذِي خَلَقَ مِنْهُ مُحَمَّداً وَ عَلِيّاً فَلَمْ يَزَالَا نُورَيْنِ أَوَّلَيْنِ إِذْ لَا شَيْءَ كُوِّنَ قَبْلَهُمَا فَلَمْ يَزَالَا يَجْرِيَانِ طَاهِرَيْنِ مُطَهَّرَيْنِ فِي الْأَصْلَابِ الطَّاهِرَةِ حَتَّى افْتَرَقَا فِي أَطْهَرِ طَاهِرَيْنِ فِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ وَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ( عليه السلام ) .

احمد بن ادریس، الحسین بن عبداللہ الصغیر سے، محمد بن ابراہیم الجعفری سے، احمد بن علی بن محمد بن عبداللہ بن عمر بن علی بن ابی طالب علیہ السلام سے، ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: بے شک اللہ اس وقت تھا جب کچھ بھی نہ تھا۔ پھر اس نے وجود اور مکان کو پیدا کیا، اور نورِ انوار کو پیدا کیا جس سے تمام انوار روشن ہوئے، اور اس میں اپنے نور میں سے جاری کیا جس سے تمام انوار روشن ہوئے۔ اور وہی وہ نور ہے جس سے اس نے محمد اور علی کو پیدا کیا۔ وہ دو اولین نور ہی رہے جب ان سے پہلے کوئی چیز وجود میں نہ آئی تھی۔ پھر وہ پاک اور پاکیزہ اصلاب میں منتقل ہوتے رہے یہاں تک کہ وہ دو پاک ترین پاک ہستیوں میں جدا ہوئے: عبداللہ اور ابو طالب علیہ السلام میں۔
Translation
Ahmad Bin Idrees, from Al Husayn Bin Abdullah Al Sagheer, from Muhammad Bin Ibrahim Al Ja’fary, from Ahmad Bin Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Abdullah Bin Umar, (It has been narrated) son of Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Abu Talib<sup>asws</sup>, from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Existed when there was no other existence. So He<sup>azwj</sup> Created the existence (beings), and the space, and Created the Light of the light from which the lights are illuminated, and Made to flow into it from His<sup>azwj</sup> Own Light from which the lights lit up, and it is the Light from which were created Muhammad<sup>saww</sup> and Ali<sup>asws</sup>. So they<sup>asws</sup> did not cease to be two former lights when there was nothing existing before the two of them<sup>asws</sup>. Thus, they both<sup>asws</sup> did not cease to flow as clean, having been Cleaned, into the clean ‘الْأَصْلَابِ’, until they both<sup>asws</sup> separated in the most clean of the two clean (linages), in Abdullah<sup>as</sup> and Abu Talib<sup>as</sup>’.
