قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) لَا تَشْرَبُوا الْمَاءَ مِنْ ثُلْمَةِ الْإِنَاءِ وَ لَا مِنْ عُرْوَتِهِ فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَقْعُدُ عَلَى الْعُرْوَةِ وَ الثُّلْمَةِ .

محمد بن یحییٰ نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن یحییٰ سے، انہوں نے غیاث بن ابراہیم سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: امیر المومنین علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: برتن کے ٹوٹے ہوئے کنارے سے پانی مت پیو اور نہ ہی اس کی دستی سے، کیونکہ شیطان دستی اور ٹوٹے ہوئے کنارے پر بیٹھتا ہے۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Gayas Bin Ibrahim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Neither drink the water from a notch of the vessel, nor from its handle, for the Satan<sup>la</sup> sits upon the handle and the notch’.
