قَالَ أَبِي لِعَمْرِو بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ وَ بَشِيرٍ الرَّحَّالِ وَ وَاصِلٍ فِي حَدِيثٍ وَ لَا يُشْرَبُ مِنْ أُذُنِ الْكُوزِ وَ لَا مِنْ كَسْرِهِ إِنْ كَانَ فِيهِ فَإِنَّهُ مَشْرَبُ الشَّيَاطِينِ .

محمد بن یحیی، محمد بن الحسین سے، عبدالرحمن بن ابی ہاشم سے، سالم بن مکرم سے، ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے، انہوں نے فرمایا: میرے والد نے عمرو بن عبید، بشیر الرحال اور واصل کو ایک حدیث میں فرمایا: 'کوزے کے کان (منہ/ہینڈل) سے نہ پیو، اور نہ اس کی ٹوٹی جگہ سے اگر کوئی ہو، کیونکہ وہ شیاطین کا پینے کی جگہ ہے۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Abdul Rahman Bin Abu Hashim, from Salim Bin Mukram, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘My<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> said to Umar Bin Ubeyd and Bashir Al-Rahhal and Wasil in a Hadeeth: ‘Neither drink from the ear of the pitcher, nor from its crack if there was one in it, for it is a drinking place of the Satans<sup>la</sup>’.
