ا سَأَلْنَا أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْفُقَّاعِ فَقَالَ حَرَامٌ وَ هُوَ خَمْرٌ مَجْهُولٌ وَ فِيهِ حَدُّ شَارِبِ الْخَمْرِ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Amro Bin Saeed, from Al Hassan Bin Al Jahm and Ibn Fazzal both together said, ‘We asked Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> about the fermented drink. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘It is an unknown wine, and with regards to it is a legal penalty (<span class="iTxt">Hadd</span>) of the wine drinker’.
