قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَا تَضْرِبُوا الدَّوَابَّ عَلَى وُجُوهِهَا فَإِنَّهَا تُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِ اللَّهِ . قَالَ وَ فِي حَدِيثٍ آخَرَ لَا تَسِمُوهَا فِي وُجُوهِهَا .

ہمارے کئی ساتھیوں نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے قاسم بن یحییٰ سے، انہوں نے اپنے دادا حسن بن راشد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن مسلم سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ (علیہ السلام) سے روایت کی کہ: رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا: 'جانوروں کے چہروں پر نہ مارو، کیونکہ وہ اللہ کی حمد کے ساتھ تسبیح کرتے ہیں۔' اور ایک دوسری حدیث میں: 'ان کے چہروں پر داغ نہ لگاؤ۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Qasim Bin Yahya, from his grandfather Al Hassan Bin Rashid, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Do not strike the animals upon their faces, for they Glorify with the Praise of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>’. He<sup>asws</sup> (the Imam<sup>asws</sup>) said in another Hadeeth: ‘Do not brand them (curse them and hit) in their faces’.
