رَجُلٍ يُوصَى إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ إِذَا بُعِثَ بِهَا إِلَيْهِ مِنْ بَلَدٍ فَلَيْسَ لَهُ رَدُّهَا وَ إِنْ كَانَ فِي مِصْرٍ يُوجَدُ فِيهِ غَيْرُهُ فَذَلِكَ إِلَيْهِ .

محمد بن اسماعیل نے فضل بن شاذان سے، انہوں نے ابن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے ربعی سے، انہوں نے فضیل سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی اس شخص کے بارے میں جسے وصی بنایا جائے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: اگر اسے کسی (دوسرے) شہر سے بھیجا گیا ہو تو اسے رد کرنے کا اسے حق نہیں۔ لیکن اگر وہ کسی ایسے شہر میں ہو جہاں اس کے علاوہ کوئی اور بھی ملتا ہو تو یہ اس پر ہے۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazal Bin Shazaan, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Rabie, from Fuzayl, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding a man whose appointment as an executor (of will) was sent to him’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘If it was sent to him from (the same) city, so it is not up to him to reject it, and if it was from a city in which someone else can be found, so that is up to him’.
