John Shaqi

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) إِذَا أُتِيَ بِشَارِبِ الْخَمْرِ ضَرَبَهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ أُتِيَ بِهِ ثَانِيَةً ضَرَبَهُ ثُمَّ إِنْ أُتِيَ بِهِ ثَالِثَةً ضَرَبَ عُنُقَهُ.


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus, from Al Moala, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>, whenever they came with a drinker of the wine, would whip him. Then if they came with him for a second time, he<sup>saww</sup> would whip him. They if they came up with him for a third time, he<sup>saww</sup> would strike his neck’.
