قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) لَا قَطْعَ فِي رِيشٍ يَعْنِي الطَّيْرَ كُلَّهُ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘(There would be) no cutting-off (the hand) with regards to a feather, meaning the whole bird’.
