قَالَ لَا يُقْطَعُ السَّارِقُ فِي عَامِ سَنَةٍ يَعْنِي فِي عَامِ مَجَاعَةٍ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The thief would not be cut during a year of inactivity, meaning during a year of famine’.
