سَمِعْتُ عَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَلَقَ مُحَمَّداً وَ عَلِيّاً وَ أَحَدَ عَشَرَ مِنْ وُلْدِهِ مِنْ نُورِ عَظَمَتِهِ فَأَقَامَهُمْ أَشْبَاحاً فِي ضِيَاءِ نُورِهِ يَعْبُدُونَهُ قَبْلَ خَلْقِ الْخَلْقِ يُسَبِّحُونَ اللَّهَ وَ يُقَدِّسُونَهُ وَ هُمُ الْأَئِمَّةُ مِنْ وُلْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) .

محمد بن یحیی، محمد بن احمد سے، محمد بن الحسین سے، ابو سعید العصفوری سے، عمرو بن ثابت سے، ابو حمزہ سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے علی بن الحسین (علیہ السلام) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: بے شک اللہ نے محمد، علی اور ان کی اولاد میں سے گیارہ کو اپنی عظمت کے نور سے پیدا کیا۔ پھر اس نے انہیں اپنے نور کی ضیاء میں صورتیں بنا کر قائم فرمایا، جو مخلوق کی تخلیق سے پہلے اس کی عبادت کرتے تھے۔ وہ اللہ کی تسبیح کرتے اور اس کی تقدیس بیان کرتے تھے، اور وہ رسول اللہ (صلى الله عليه وآله) کی اولاد میں سے ائمہ ہیں۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Abu Saeed Al Usfoury, from Amro Bin Sabit, from Abu Hamza who said, ‘I heard Ali<sup>asws</sup> Bin Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Created Muhammad<sup>saww</sup> and Ali<sup>asws</sup> and eleven from his<sup>asws</sup> sons<sup>asws</sup> from the Light of His<sup>azwj</sup> Magnificence. Then He<sup>azwj</sup> Stood them<sup>asws</sup> as being resemblances in the illumination of His<sup>azwj</sup> Light, worshipping Him<sup>azwj</sup> before the creation of the creatures. They<sup>asws</sup> were Glorifying Allah<sup>azwj</sup> and they<sup>asws</sup> were Extolling His<sup>azwj</sup> Holiness, and they<sup>asws</sup> are the Imams<sup>asws</sup> from the children of Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>’.
