كُلُّنَا قَائِمٌ بِأَمْرِ اللَّهِ وَاحِدٌ بَعْدَ وَاحِدٍ حَتَّى يَجِيءَ صَاحِبُ السَّيْفِ فَإِذَا جَاءَ صَاحِبُ السَّيْفِ جَاءَ بِأَمْرٍ غَيْرِ الَّذِي كَانَ .

الحسین بن محمد الاشعری، معلیٰ بن محمد سے، وہ الوشاء سے، وہ احمد بن عائذ سے، وہ ابو خدیجہ سے، وہ ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ ان سے القائم کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: ہم سب اللہ کے حکم کے ساتھ قائم ہیں، ایک کے بعد ایک، یہاں تک کہ صاحبِ تلوار آ جائے۔ پھر جب صاحبِ تلوار آئے گا تو وہ اس امر کے ساتھ آئے گا جو اس سے مختلف ہوگا جو پہلے تھا۔
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad Al Ashary, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Washha, from Ahmad Bin Aiz, from Abu Khadeeja, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> that he<sup>asws</sup> was asked about Al-Qaim<sup>asws</sup>, so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘All of us<sup>asws</sup> are Qaim (standing) with the Command of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, one after one, until there would come the Owner of the sword. So when the owner of the sword comes, he<sup>asws</sup> would come with a matter other than which was’.
