عَلَيْهَا الْخُمُسُ .

علی بن ابراہیم بن ہاشم، اپنے والد سے، ابن ابی عمیر سے، جمیل بن دراج سے، محمد بن مسلم سے، ابو جعفر (علیہ السلام) سے۔ ان سے سونے، چاندی، لوہے، سیسے اور پیتل کی کانوں کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “ان پر خمس ہے (پانچواں حصہ ٹیکس)۔”
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim Bin Hashim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Jameel Bin Darraj, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having been asked about the mines of gold, and the silver, and the iron, and the brass, and the zinc. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Upon it is the Khums (the fifth)’.
