ا مَنْ حَكَمَ فِي دِرْهَمَيْنِ بِغَيْرِ مَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ مِمَّنْ لَهُ سَوْطٌ أَوْ عَصًا فَهُوَ كَافِرٌ بِمَا أَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے ابن فضال سے، انہوں نے ثعلبہ سے، انہوں نے صباح الازرق سے، انہوں نے حکم الحناط سے، انہوں نے ابو بصیر سے، انہوں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے، اور حکم نے ابن ابی یعفور سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی — دونوں نے فرمایا: 'جو شخص دو درہم کے بارے میں اس کے خلاف فیصلہ کرے جو اللہ عزوجل نے نازل فرمایا ہے، ان لوگوں میں سے جن کے پاس کوڑا یا لاٹھی (یعنی حاکمانہ اقتدار) ہو، تو وہ اس چیز کا کافر ہے جو اللہ عزوجل نے محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ پر نازل فرمائی ہے۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Fazzal, from Sa’alba, from Sabbah Al Azraq, from Hakam, from Abu Baseer, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>; and Hakam Bin Yafour, from Abu Yafour, from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>; both<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The one who judges with regards to (even) two Dirhams by other than what Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Revealed, is from the ones for whom is a whip or a stick (ruling authority), so he is a disbeliever with what Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Revealed upon Muhammad<sup>saww</sup>’.
