كَانَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) إِذَا ذَكَرَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله) قَالَ بِأَبِي وَ أُمِّي وَ قَوْمِي وَ عَشِيرَتِي عَجَبٌ لِلْعَرَبِ كَيْفَ لَا تَحْمِلُنَا عَلَى رُءُوسِهَا وَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ فِي كِتَابِهِ وَ كُنْتُمْ عَلى شَفا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْها فَبِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) أُنْقِذُوا.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473517">H 14836</a> – From him, from Abdul Rahmaan Bin Abu Najraan, from Abu Haroun Al-Makfouf, who has narrated the following: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-w">W</span>henever Abu Abdullah</span><sup>asws</sup> mentioned the Rasool Allah<sup>saww</sup>, he would say: ‘By my<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup>, and my<sup>asws</sup> mother<sup>as</sup>, and by my<sup>asws</sup> people, and my<sup>asws</sup> relatives! It is strange of the Arabs, how they have not carried us<sup>asws</sup> upon their heads, and Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic is Saying in His<sup>azwj</sup> Book: <span class="ibTxt">“<a href="/#/books/quran:3#h103"><a href="/books/quran:3#h103">[3:103]</a></a> and you were on the brink of a pit of fire, then He saved you from it”</span>, so it was by the Rasool Allah<sup>saww</sup> that they were saved’.
