قُلْتُ لَهُ فَإِذا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْآنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطانِ الرَّجِيمِ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ لَهُ سُلْطانٌ عَلَى الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَ عَلى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ فَقَالَ يَا أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ يُسَلَّطُ وَ اللَّهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ عَلَى بَدَنِهِ وَ لَا يُسَلَّطُ عَلَى دِينِهِ قَدْ سُلِّطَ عَلَى أَيُّوبَ (عليه السلام) فَشَوَّهَ خَلْقَهُ وَ لَمْ يُسَلَّطْ عَلَى دِينِهِ وَ قَدْ يُسَلَّطُ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلَى أَبْدَانِهِمْ وَ لَا يُسَلَّطُ عَلَى دِينِهِمْ قُلْتُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى إِنَّما سُلْطانُهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهُ وَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ بِهِ مُشْرِكُونَ قَالَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ بِاللَّهِ مُشْرِكُونَ يُسَلَّطُ عَلَى أَبْدَانِهِمْ وَ عَلَى أَدْيَانِهِمْ.
Translation
<a id="_Toc492473562">H 14881</a> – From him, from Ali Bin Al-Hassan, from Mansour bin Yunus, from Abu Baseer, who has narrated the following: <span class="first-chapter-phrase"><span class="first-in-chapter character-i">I</span> said to Abu Abdullah</span><sup>asws</sup> about: <span class="ibTxt">“<a href="/#/books/quran:16#h98"><a href="/books/quran:16#h98">[16:98]</a></a> So when you recite the Quran, seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Shaitan <a href="/#/books/quran:16#h99"><a href="/books/quran:16#h99">[16:99]</a></a> Surely he has no authority over those who believe and rely on their Lord”</span>, so he<sup>asws</sup> said; ‘O Abu Muhammad! By Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, he<sup>la</sup> overcomes the Believer upon his body but does not overcome his Religion. He<sup>la</sup> had overcome upon Ayub<sup>as</sup>, so he<sup>la</sup> deformed his<sup>as</sup> physique and did not overcome upon his<sup>as</sup> Religion, and he<sup>la</sup> has overcome the Believers upon their bodies and does not overcome upon their Religion’. I said, ‘The Statement of the High: <span class="ibTxt">“<a href="/#/books/quran:16#h100"><a href="/books/quran:16#h100">[16:100]</a></a> His authority is only over those who befriend him and those who associate others with Him.”</span> He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The ones who associate with Allah<sup>azwj</sup>, he<sup>la</sup> overcomes upon their bodies as well as upon their Religions’.
