قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) مَا مِنْ أَمْرٍ يَخْتَلِفُ فِيهِ اثْنَانِ إِلَّا وَ لَهُ أَصْلٌ فِي كِتَابِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ لَكِنْ لَا تَبْلُغُهُ عُقُولُ الرِّجَالِ .

محمد بن یحییٰ نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے ابن فضال سے، انہوں نے ثعلبہ بن میمون سے، انہوں نے اس شخص سے جس نے انہیں بیان کیا، انہوں نے معلّی بن خنیس سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: 'کوئی ایسا معاملہ نہیں جس میں دو (افراد) اختلاف کریں مگر یہ کہ اس کی ایک اصل اللہ عزّ و جلّ کی کتاب میں موجود ہو — لیکن مردوں کی عقلیں اسے نہیں پہنچتیں۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Fazzal, from Sa’alba Bin Maymoun, from the one who narrated it, from Al Moalla Bin Khunays who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘There is none from a matter regarding which two (people) differ except for it would have its origin in the Book of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic, but the intellects of the men do not reach it’.
