سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ لِأَبِي بَصِيرٍ أَمَا وَ اللَّهِ لَوْ أَنِّي أَجِدُ مِنْكُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ مُؤْمِنِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ حَدِيثِي مَا اسْتَحْلَلْتُ أَنْ أَكْتُمَهُمْ حَدِيثاً .

علی ابن ابراہیم، اپنے والد سے، ابنِ محبوب سے، ابنِ ریاب سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے سنا ابو عبدالله (علیہ السلام) ابو بصیر سے کہہ رہے تھے: ‘اللہ کی قسم! اگر میں تم میں سے تین مومنین کو پاتا جو میرا حدیث چھپا رہے ہوں، تو میں یہ جائز نہ سمجھتا کہ میں ان سے ایک بھی حدیث چھپاؤں۔’
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Mahboub, from Ibn Raib who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying to Abu Baseer: ‘But, by Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! If I<sup>asws</sup> were to find three <span class="iTxt">Momineen</span> from you all who are concealing my<sup>asws</sup> Ahadeeth, I<sup>asws</sup> would not have considered it Permissible that I<sup>asws</sup> should be concealing a single Hadeeth from them’.
