مَا كَانَ مِنْ وُلْدِ آدَمَ مُؤْمِنٌ إِلَّا فَقِيراً وَ لَا كَافِرٌ إِلَّا غَنِيّاً حَتَّى جَاءَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ( عليه السلام ) فَقَالَ رَبَّنا لا تَجْعَلْنا فِتْنَةً لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا فَصَيَّرَ اللَّهُ فِي هَؤُلَاءِ أَمْوَالًا وَ حَاجَةً وَ فِي هَؤُلَاءِ أَمْوَالًا وَ حَاجَةً .

ہمارے بعض اصحاب نے سهل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے ابراہیم بن عقبہ سے، انہوں نے اسماعیل بن سهل اور اسماعیل بن عباد سے، اور دونوں نے اسے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام تک مرفوع کیا، جنہوں نے فرمایا: آدم کی اولاد میں کوئی مومن ایسا نہ تھا مگر وہ فقیر تھا، اور کوئی کافر ایسا نہ تھا مگر وہ غنی تھا، یہاں تک کہ ابراہیم علیہ السلام آئے اور فرمایا: اے ہمارے رب، ہمیں کافروں کے لیے آزمائش نہ بنا۔ پس اللہ نے ان میں مال اور حاجت رکھ دی، اور ان میں بھی مال اور حاجت رکھ دی۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ibrahim Bin Uqba, from Ismail Bin Sahl and Ismail Bin Abbad, altogether raising it to, Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘There was never a <span class="iTxt">Momin</span> from the sons of Adam<sup>as</sup> except as poor, nor a disbeliever except as rich until Ibrahim<sup>as</sup> came, so he<sup>as</sup> said <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:60#h5"><a href="/books/quran:60#h5">[60:5]</a></a> Our Lord! Do not make us a trial for those who disbelieve</span>. Thus, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Transferred wealth and needs to be in these ones, and wealth and needs to be in those ones’.
