سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ مَنْ زَنَى خَرَجَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ وَ مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ خَرَجَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ وَ مَنْ أَفْطَرَ يَوْماً مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ مُتَعَمِّداً خَرَجَ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ .

یونس، حمّاد سے، نعمان الرازی سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابا عبد اللہ (علیہ السلام) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: جو شخص زنا کرے وہ ایمان سے خارج ہو جاتا ہے، اور جو شخص شراب پئے وہ ایمان سے خارج ہو جاتا ہے، اور جو شخص رمضان کے مہینے میں ایک دن کا روزہ جان بوجھ کر توڑے وہ ایمان سے خارج ہو جاتا ہے۔
Translation
Yunus, from Hammad, from Nu’man Al Razy who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘The one who commits adultery exits from the <span class="iTxt">Emān</span>, and the one who drinks the wine exits from the <span class="iTxt">Emān</span>, and the one who breaks the Fast for a day from the Month of Ramazan deliberately, exits from the <span class="iTxt">Emān</span>’.
