اس (ایوب بن نوح) نے ابو الحسن علیہ السلام کو لکھا اور ان سے اللہ عزوجل کے بارے میں سوال کیا آیا وہ اشیاء کو پیدا کرنے سے پہلے ان کو جانتا تھا اور ان کو وجود میں لایا، یا وہ اسے اس وقت تک نہیں جانتا تھا جب تک اس نے انہیں پیدا نہیں کیا اور ان کی تخلیق اور وجود میں آنے کا ارادہ نہیں کیا، پس جب اس نے پیدا کیا تو اس نے جانا جو اس نے پیدا کیا اور جو وجود میں آیا اس وقت جانا جب وجود میں آیا۔ تو انہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ سے دستخط کرتے ہوئے لکھا: اللہ تعالیٰ اشیاء کو پیدا کرنے سے پہلے بھی ہمیشہ ان اشیاء کو جاننے والا تھا، جیسا کہ اشیاء کو پیدا کرنے کے بعد انہیں جاننے والا ہے۔

Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Sa’ad Bin Abdullah, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Ayoub Bin Nuh, ‘He wrote to Abu Al-Hassan^asws asking him^asws about Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic, ‘Did He^azwj Know of the things before He^azwj Created the things and their occurrence (coming into being), or did He^azwj not Know that until He^azwj Created these and Intended their Creation and their coming into being, So He^azwj Knew what He^azwj Created during what He^azwj Created, and what is to come into being during what came into being’. So he^asws signed: ‘Allah^azwj never ceased to be Knowing of the thing before He^azwj Created the things, just like His^azwj Knowledge of the things after having Created the things’.
